Found on a perfect private headland overlooking Patong Bay, this property was first established in 1984 as Coral Beach Resort and has been a long-standing icon of Phuket’s hospitality scene ever since. As the resort evolved, it repositioned as a premier island retreat, known for its spectacular panoramic ocean views.

In 2004, the resort transitioned to Amari Coral Beach Phuket, officially joined the ONYX Hospitality Group portfolio in 2010 and rebranding in 2013 to Amari Phuket, with the addition of Samutr Bar. By 2015, the property officially opened the Ocean Wing, marking a key milestone for the property, transforming it to become one of Phuket’s leading beachfront destinations.

Today, Amari Phuket features 380 contemporary guest rooms and suites, many with private balconies overlooking the Andaman Sea. Guests can dine at La Gritta, renowned for its romantic setting and authentic Italian cuisine or relax at La Gritta Bar, The Jetty, TreePod, and Samutr Bar – each offering unique sea-view experiences and famous Amari warmth throughout.
